Black Kite Racing has worked with Harken, Spinlock and Lewmar products for over 10 years in many different disciplines of sailing. In that time we have built up an understanding to what can work on a race-boat and what does not. When you employ our services, you gain our knowledge. Ground breaking APplication

Grease is grease, right?! We're afraid not. The kind of grease you put in your winches matters which is why we put in a lot of time and energy to making sure everything is put together perfectly. The tiny details matter and we are fanatical about them which is why in some racing applications (IMOCA 60s, for example) we use a sticky grease which is designed to protect the gearings against corrosion whilst the boat is being raced around the world.
